Red Maca

Red Maca is often chosen for its potential hormone-balancing properties. Slightly strong and sweet, red maca powder has a higher antioxidant content. It’s believed to support menstrual health and menopausal symptoms.

Black Maca has a robust and earthy flavor. It is considered the strongest type of maca. It’s known to enhance stamina and endurance. Black Maca Powder is also believed to have positive effects on male fertility and libido.

We recommend trying it as starting point for those new to Maca. It’s the most mainstream and widely available type. It has a mild and slightly sweet flavor. Yellow maca powder has potential health benefits that balance hormones and energy levels.

Native to the Andes mountains, maca is no stranger to extreme temperatures and strong winds. The plant thrives in this unique environment. Maca is still primarily grown and harvested in Peru, but because of its new popularity countries like Bolivia and the United States are growing Maca.
