Rossellini Spaghetti

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 cup  fresh basil leaves finely chopped 
  • 1 cup  flat leaf parsley finely chopped 
  • 1 cup  fresh chives finely chopped 
  • ¼ cup  fresh sage finely chopped 
  • ½ cup  fresh mint finely chopped 
  • ¼ cup  fresh oregano leaves finely chopped 
  • 1 cup  olive oil  extra virgin
  • 1 cup  garlic clove minced
  • 1 cup  Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese grated
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh pepper grounded

Instructions
 

  • To begin, turn on a stovetop to high heat, and bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Once boiling, you can then add your 1 lb of spaghetti to the pot, and then cook it as per the instructions found on the packaging. 
  • While your spaghetti is cooking, you then need to take all of the fresh herbs you’re planning to use, the garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, half of the Parmigiano-Reggiano you have, as well as a pinch of both salt and pepper, and place them all into a bowl together. 
  • Once your spaghetti has been cooked to al dente, you then need to remove it from the pot, drain it, and then immediately move the spaghetti into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients in. Toss all of the ingredients together until the spaghetti is well coated with both the olive oil and the herbs. 
  • You can then add the rest of the Parmigiano-Reggiano before serving, and then you can enjoy this amazing dish!
